Serving is a great way to get involved in the life of Well City Church and play your part in helping us become a Well of Life for the sake of the city.

  • We want to build a culture where serving is first and foremost about God and His glory. As we serve, we want to stay attentive to what God might be doing and how He might want to use us. We give our best because we want to honour Him in all that we do.

    Put it into practice

    • Pray before, during and after serving.

    • Ask, “Lord, how would You like to use me today?”

    • As a leader, think about how you can help your team see serving as worship, not simply a task to complete.

  • We believe every person is a gift from God and has an important part to play. That shapes the way we serve together and the way we treat one another.

    We want to prioritise people over tasks, make space for people to use their unique gifts, and create a culture where everyone feels seen, valued and included.

    Put it into practice

    • Thank your team for what they’ve done.

    • Ask how people are doing before allocating tasks.

    • Take time to get to know new team members.

    • If someone doesn’t turn up when expected, check in to see how they’re doing.

  • We want to follow the pattern of Jesus by bringing others alongside us, helping them grow and giving them opportunities to get involved.

    That means looking out for people who could take a next step, grow in confidence, or carry greater responsibility over time.

    “Come and follow me,” Jesus said. - Matthew 4:19

    • Look for opportunities to give others more responsibility.

    • Ask yourself who you could bring alongside you and help grow.
